I’m glad you decided to visit my website and I hope it will be an encouragement to families who are planning for that special day.
We are a family of 6. Three girls ages, 25, 23, 13, and last but not least our boy 11. Les and I have been married for 28 years. We live on 20 treed acres with one horse, a dog, and 1 cat, as of today that is!
In the winter of 2007 our second daughter came home with her sweetie and they announced they were getting married. This was after our soon to be son-in-law had asked her daddy if it was OK! :) Well…. the rest is history. Here we are sharing about our backyard wedding and reception experience. And…just this last summer, July 2010, our oldest daughter was also married in our backyard!
I’m a mom with a passion for her family. I love my husband, children and home. And it is only with the help of my very best friend, Jesus Christ, that anything of value will come from this life of mine. I take my role as wife and mother very seriously; this adventure has never been dull or boring for sure. :-
My vision is to inspire you to look beyond the Brides Magazine mentality (having to have everything brand new or expensive) and see that there are most definitely other ways of doing things. Thinking outside the box is actually more fun anyway.
