In the magazines I purchased the other day, there were so many ideas and pictures, I was slightly overwhelmed. Weddings have so many aspects; I decided I needed a scrapbook to collaborate all my favorite ideas.

Back to the store and directly under the stationary is where you could have found me. I was picking out a drawing book. No words or lines, just thicker cream colored paper, perfect for my project. Back home I carefully cut and pasted different articles, ideas, dress pictures, cakes, and more.

I then proceeded to show my girlfriends at work what I had done. Besides the crazy looks, they were all to intrigued to stay away; with wedding planning you get sucked in and can’t escape. So they all ooohed and aaahed over my book. After looking at it, my girlfriend called her husband. Shorty after, he arrived at work with the wedding book they had used to hold all their wedding day plans. It was overflowing with ideas and kept us occupied for the rest of the day.

Besides surfing through tons of wedding magazines, I keep trying on the ring I’ve picked out for my, someday groom to purchase for me. You see I have worked at a jewelry store for the last three years. I knew, even before I met the man, what I wanted my engagement ring to look like. And shorty after I began thinking of a wedding, I had the two pieces I wanted to accompany the center ring picked out. I constantly get in trouble for taking it out and wearing it around the store. I can’t help it though!

There has been the occasion that he has come to pick me up for lunch and caught me wearing it. He just rolls his eyes and smiles; as long as I’m looking at it with anticipation for what’s ahead, he doesn’t mind. You’ve got to be kidding! That’s exactly why I wear my ring around every chance I get.
