The Wanna Be Bride – Part 4
I have always known what colors I wanted for my wedding: a pale green and lavender. So, do I have my bridesmaids wear green or lavender dresses? I think I will have them wear lavender and carry green bouquets. Then I will carry a lavender bouquet with flowers cascading everywhere!
And speaking of flowers, I think the ones I want are probably expensive. I would love to have flowers that are different; not the typical types, and for some reason I just don’t like baby’s breath.
Then we have the dresses. A few of my bridesmaids are busty, so the dresses I really want may be out of the question. But… I really like the style so I’m hoping it will work. However, if my bridesmaids are busting at the seams… we’ll definitally have to make an adjustment. I might need a plan B… I haven’t quite figured out what plan B is yet though, so I’ll have to add that to my to-do list.
And speaking of photos, the photographer that did my friend’s wedding is no longer in the business. But this particular photographer is the one I really want because she did such a great job and had fun while she did it – she helped all of us relax too. So I’ve decided I’ll give her a call and beg her to do me a favor. I just hope she hasn’t sold all of her cameras or has other commitments on the day of my wedding … not sure when that is yet though. She just has to agree to do a come back tour; one last time, just for me PLEASE!
There are so many things to think about and so many thing to do. Sometimes I wonder if I shouldn’t just elope and forget the whole huge wedding deal. But if I did that, would I regret it forever? I am such an impatient girl. I want it, and I want it now! But then reality hits, and I realize… I’m still just a Wanna-Be-Bride without a ring. So I’ll settle down, because for now I really don’t have a wedding to plan. I’m just looking into the future with a sparkle of hope in my eye, a sparkle put there by him.
So I’m back to where I started: first comes the ring, then comes the wedding plans . . . at least that’s how it’s supposed to be.
