The Wanna Be Bride – Part 13
Well, it has been a long time since I have written. School finals are over and I have two weeks to relax, think about Christmas, and my big day! The wedding coordinator and I will meet next Tuesday, at a quiet coffee shop, to start making plans. I must have a theme outlined for her as well as dress ideas, and she would love swatches of my colors.
I find it really hard to concentrate on the planning. I am overwhelmed with the amount of things that need done. The wedding feels so far away that it doesn’t seem that pressing. I know I need a plan. Maybe, when I’m standing in the fitting room trying on my first gown it will become real. I think I just need to make my first big wedding purchase.
For now though, I’ll go along with the coordinator. Doing what she requests, and trying to think of the most important aspects I want for the wedding. Do I want a full meal and desserts? What do I want to be married under? How do I want the reception to play out? What do I want my guests to feel and walk away from the wedding with? I am excited and scared. Excited that this is really happening, and its going to be amazing! Scared, that something I would consider pivotal to the wedding, might not work out. There is nothing in particular that could go terribly wrong, but you never know!
I’m sure I will have lots more to talk about once I have met with my coordinator. I’m looking forward to the chat, and coffee. Planners/ coordinators can stimulate the brain and get the creative juices flowing. I can’t wait!
