Is this not gorgeous! I’m always on the look-out for something to shade our lawn during weddings. This canopy style  just says relax, stay awhile and visit, very inviting. I don’t like the tents, I’m not sure why?  I know the tents serve two purposes though; rain and sunshine. 

I’m on the search for the fabric to do this project. I will be checking at Walmart and in the marked down bins at other fabric stores. I will also need to have posts or poles that are removable. I want to be able to take it up and down.

I’m thinking of putting it on the diagonal because it will fit my yard better. The lawn is edged with railroad ties and I think I could drill permanent holes in them to hold up poles. Then I’ll need to figure out bracing etc. Oh, what an exciting project.

I hope my husband will think so too!
