Very Teri ~ Linen Tablecloth & Runner

I really like the solid color tablecloth with the sheer design fabric used as the runner. We are wanting our dessert table to look very beautiful and elegant, but simple.
Right now, I plan on sewing the fabric for our tablecloth and runner. It needs to be wide enough to reach the ground and long enough to cover two rectangle tables. The runner will also have to span the two tables. I will be pricing fabric the next time I venture to town.
The bottom cloth will be lavender and I’d like the top to be pistachio (green) sheer fabric with a design on it. Lavender and green are the wedding colors. I might get these together and not like it at all.
I thought of just using two solid colors, and that would be alright, but I was really looking for something lighter? Ok… so I’m not sure yet how this project will turn out.
