Well… I only recieved a few calls from the  Bridal Fair forms I filled out; an ice sculpture company, DJ guy, and a few emails, other than that the lines have remained quiet. Oh! But I actually did get a call from the American Laser Centers – for a $300 gift certificate! I went for my consultation just yesterday. I can’t wait to get my facials done. The lady was so sweet and ready to help me prepare for my wedding day. So, that  was worth the $9 dollar admission fee – several times over.

Okay the next biggest event . . . me and my fiance registered yesterday! We arrived at Bed Bath & Beyond with a book I received at the Bridal Fair, yellow sticky notes scattered throughout. Our consultant Chris was excited and ready to help. We were ushered into a little room with the fine china and a computer. Chris asked us what kind of china we liked and added it to our registry. She then sent us out into the great abundance of gadgets, gizmo’s, toasters, and everything else a new couple could imagine.

It was slightly overwhelming but there were lots of nice associates ready and willing to answer all questions. After a little over two hours, and a scan gun full of fun things, we went back to the little room. Once back we were given our registration cards to place with our invitations, and a little bag of goodies and coupons. It was a very fun experience. Once home we looked over our list and decided to add and delete a few things. We can do this online though, so that makes it really easy.

 Next assignment: dress shopping on the 4th. I will have a mother, two sisters, grandma, and best friend helping me pick things out. It should be a very interesting and loud (six opinionated ladies in one place) day. I will have lots to tell after.
