I take Armour Thyroid medication and when I went to get my prescription, they were out. So… they gave me a generic brand, ugh.

It seems that there is some kind of shortage of Armour Thyroid right now? I knew something was wrong when I just cried at everything and my heart seemed to be doing something weird. To make a long story short I ended up at the doctors office.

They gave me an EKG because my chest was hurting. The EKG looked fine. They drew blood for a thyroid test and I left with a new prescription for my old medication.

Before I went to the  doctor I was calling all the drug stores around to see if anyone had the Armour brand of thyroid medication. Only one store in town had any. I asked her to hold it for me until after my doctors appointment.  Will she have it in again? She didn’t know!

I have since found out that Group Health will give a 30 day supply. I usually receive 100 tabs at a time, but  because of the shortage…

The reason I’m sharing is because I really do not feel like doing much.  I seem to have lost all my energy and just doing normal is tiring. My posts are just going to have to wait. Please forgive the interruption.
