And Who Will Make the Cake…..
Ah….the cake, center of the reception; everyone looks forward to the cake.
Will the icing taste good or is it just for looks? Will the cake be one flavor or several. Maybe there will be filling of some sort. Will the bride and groom shove the cake at each other or….. is there an or? :)
Finding the perfect cake will take some time of course. You may need more than one trip to the library or the purchase of a few magazines. And then, who will you trust with the creation of this reception center piece?
Well, your sister of course. She has only taken a few lessons, but the price is right. There is still several months to the wedding. Practice shouldn’t be a problem. And…she really wants to do this.
The wedding cake picture was found and practice began. Family and friends were called upon to eat, and critique. Our waists were all glad when the project was perfected.
The cake was everything it should have been; every piece gone. Little did she know there would also be more wedding cakes to create in her future.
