Flower Basket Project

This basket was purchased at the Goodwill store for under one dollar. The first time it was used it was painted white and then a red wire ribbon was put through the large holes with bows tied on the sides.

For this baskets second duty, it is painted purple with green twisted rope strung  through the large holes, and a tassel on one side.

What kind of ideas have you come up with for your flower basket? Will you be reusing a basket, or purchasing a new one?

Flower Girl Card

Isn’t this just a sweet Flower Girl card? What little girl wouldn’t just love to receive her very own card in the mail asking her to be, “The Flower Girl”. What a  great way to make her feel extra special. Use this pictured card to get your creative juices flowing.

Either make an envelope or find one the right size for the card you will make.  Use card-stock for your base and then cover it with scrap-booking paper. Gather all your supplies: glue stick, scissors, letter stickers, some 3D adhesive paper flowers, jewel accessories that have glue on the back, heart stickers, anything that a little girl would love, just go crazy!

You can tear paper to make it look like it has frilly sides or use some craft scissors. I  bought a whole set of these scissors from Costco and have used them often. Hand print the message or use a cool font on the computer. This is a very easy project to tackle and your Flower Girl will love it.

Go crazy… Teri :~
