I’m Back!!

I haven’t been on vacation…really. I have been working hard in my little office getting ready to launch my new website.

I can’t give out any information yet, but soon! I’m very excited about this new project and I hope you will find it helpful.

My heart is to help families, and that includes mine, in planning and organizing beautiful backyard weddings without having to pay for the wedding long after it is over.

I have lots of ideas to share and…well, I really do not want to spoil what’s coming. So…be on the look-out for my announcement.

Outdoor wedding season is on it’s way… let’s get ready!

Backyard Winter Wonderland – Calm Before The Storm

PB220057

Well, as you can see from the picture, winter has settled into my backyard. The aisle or path is all coverd with snow and at rest for the winter ahead. However, there are plans being made for this now winter wonderland! I have just been informed there is to be a July wedding in my backyard.

So… while there is snow on the ground there is much planning going on. The talk is of bridesmaids flowers and dresses, when to start shopping (lets wait until after the holidays please?), who will take the pictures, and as you can guess, this conversation goes on and on.

There is talk of lights, and lots of them. Will they show up though, on those long hot sunny days in July? I suppose it will have to be an evening wedding, late evening if those lights are to be seen. I wonder if that is to late for a full blown dinner, maybe just dessert would do?

I’m also wondering  what new things will happen to the yard this spring. Of course I have a few ideas that are milling around in this head of mine. A wedding is always a very good excuse to do MORE to the yard. I think it’s time to visit the library again and check out those books on arbors, trellises, and pergolas.

To get the best deals, research and planning will have to start now. Join us in the weeks and months ahead as we share our ideas and strategies for our July backyard wedding.

Exciting days ahead …  Teri :-
