This week has gone by fast and been very busy. My fiance is tucked nicely into our new house and doing well. There is much to clean and fix in the house, but it’s perfect for now and we will work on it as we have time and money.

Here it is… our finished pergola! This project took about 6-8 hours and cost about $250.00 to complete. Not bad for the years of enjoyment I plan to get out of it.
The project list included: four 4×6×10 posts (for in the ground), two 2×6×12 (header boards), and five 2×6×10 boards (for top portion) cut into 5 ft. [...]
This week was fairly low key in the wedding department. Lots of talking and trying to figure out what the next few weeks will entail.

Well, spring break has come and gone. The weather was rather nasty but Les and I got to everything on the list. The pergola is built and so is the porch swing! I love how they turned out and wish I had pictures to show you.
